Block Tempo is an Android puzzle game operated by Revlant Studios. Revlant Studios is the data controller for the personal data we process as described in this policy. Contact us at [email protected].
This policy covers Block Tempo and communications with us about the game. Gameplay works offline, and you do not need to create a game account. Advertising and purchases use third-party services that can process personal data when your device connects to them.
Game data on your device
Block Tempo stores your progress, scores, run history, unfinished games, unlocked content, lives and regeneration times, preferences, tutorial status, and cached purchase entitlement in the app’s storage on your device. These records allow you to resume playing and keep your settings.
We do not upload these gameplay saves to a Revlant Studios server or operate a cloud-save service. The game’s own gameplay analytics do not transmit data remotely. Advertising and purchasing SDKs process information separately, including service analytics, as described below.
Your device or operating system may include app data in backups, depending on its settings. Backups are controlled by the relevant device or backup provider.
Advertising and privacy choices
Block Tempo uses Google AdMob, including the Google Mobile Ads SDK, to show interstitial and optional rewarded ads. Google can receive your IP address and infer an approximate location, device and app information, advertising and app-set identifiers and other applicable device/account identifiers, app launches, taps, ad views and interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. Google uses this information to deliver and measure advertising, perform service analytics, operate its services, and prevent fraud and abuse. App-set identifiers support essential purposes such as analytics and fraud prevention; they are not used for ad personalization or ad measurement.
The game requests non-personalized ads. Such ads can still involve identifiers, device storage, measurement, and fraud-prevention data; non-personalized advertising does not mean that no personal data is processed. The game’s conservative age-related advertising settings may further restrict how data is used.
We use Google’s User Messaging Platform to manage applicable privacy messages and choices. It processes consent information, and the game uses it to check whether advertising requests are permitted. Available messages and choices depend on your region, Google’s requirements, and the game’s age-related settings. The current conservative under-age-of-consent setting can mean that Google does not request consent or show a consent form. Open Settings > Privacy & Ad Settings > Open ad privacy choices to revisit choices where Google makes them available. If no form is available, you can still play. Refusing or withdrawing optional consent does not prevent you from playing, although ads and rewards that depend on ads may be unavailable.
When the game recognizes ownership of Remove Ads + Unlimited Lives, it stops requesting and showing ads. This does not delete information previously processed by advertising providers.
Read Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Purchases
Android purchases are processed through Google Play, using Unity In-App Purchasing. The game and purchasing services process product identifiers, purchase status, receipts or purchase tokens, and entitlement information to deliver, acknowledge, and restore purchases and reflect refunds or revoked entitlements.
The Unity purchasing SDK also processes information such as installation and session identifiers, device and operating-system information, country or approximate-location information, purchase events, and SDK diagnostics and performance information. This supports purchasing functionality, transaction reporting and service analytics, reliability, and fraud prevention. The data involved depends on the SDK’s operation and the service configuration. Purchasing services initialize when the game starts and can operate even when advertising is unavailable or disabled. Google’s ad privacy choices apply to advertising; they do not control all purchasing-SDK processing.
Google Play handles payment and billing details. Revlant Studios does not receive your payment-card number through the game. Block Tempo does not offer a separate webshop or ask you to sign into a Unity account.
See Google’s Privacy Policy and Unity’s Game Player and App User Privacy Policy for their data handling and privacy controls.
Information you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, including any name, screenshots, or other information you choose to provide. We use this information to answer your request, investigate the issue, and handle privacy inquiries. Please avoid sending passwords, full payment details, or information unrelated to your request.
Our email service is provided by Google. Information you send us is processed through that service as well as by Revlant Studios.
Why we process data
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases, depending on the processing:
- Providing the game and purchases: performance of our agreement with you, where processing is necessary to provide requested features, fulfill a purchase, or restore an entitlement.
- Consent: optional advertising-related access to device storage and use of data where consent is required. You may withdraw consent through the available privacy choices.
- Legitimate interests: responding to support requests, maintaining essential service reliability, and preventing fraud or abuse, where those interests are not overridden by your rights. We do not use this basis to replace consent where consent is required.
- Legal obligations: responding to valid legal requests and retaining information when the law requires it.
Unity processes purchasing data on our behalf for some activities and acts as an independent controller for others, such as its own financial reporting, legal compliance, and security or fraud prevention. Google may also act as an independent controller for some of its processing. Their privacy policies explain their purposes and legal bases.
Who receives information
Data is received by Google for advertising, consent management, purchases, and email services, and by Unity for purchasing and associated SDK services. These providers may use their affiliates and service providers as described in their privacy policies. Opening an ad or an external link takes you to a service whose own privacy policy applies.
We may disclose information we hold where necessary to comply with law, respond to a valid legal request, or protect against fraud or abuse. We do not publish the contents of your support messages.
Retention and deletion
Local game records remain on your device until replaced or removed. You can remove them using Android’s Settings > Apps > Block Tempo > Storage > Clear storage controls, or by uninstalling the app. Menu names vary by device. Clearing storage removes local progress and preferences. Copies in device backups may remain or be restored; manage those copies through your backup provider’s settings.
Deleting local game data does not erase your Google Play purchase history or automatically cancel or refund a purchase. Eligible purchases can be restored through the store.
We retain support correspondence for as long as needed to resolve your request and related follow-up, handle disputes, or meet legal obligations. We delete information we hold when it is no longer needed for those purposes. You may request earlier deletion, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
Google and Unity retain service data according to the purposes, retention criteria, and deletion procedures in their privacy policies. Uninstalling Block Tempo does not automatically delete that data. For Unity purchasing data processed on our behalf, email us: we receive and verify your request and instruct Unity to handle it. For purchasing data Unity holds as an independent controller, you can contact [email protected]. Use Google’s privacy controls for data it holds as an independent controller, or contact us for help identifying the appropriate process.
Security and international processing
Local saves use your device’s app storage and its access protections. Google and Unity document encryption in transit for their advertising and purchasing SDK data. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
Our providers may process information outside Denmark and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Their privacy policies describe the safeguards they use for applicable international transfers, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Contact us if you need information about safeguards applicable to data processed on our behalf.
Your rights
Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or a portable copy. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Email [email protected] to make a request. We may ask for information reasonably needed to identify the relevant data and verify your request. We cannot access game saves stored only on your device. Where the GDPR applies, we respond without undue delay and normally within one month. If the law permits an extension because of the complexity or number of requests, we explain it within that first month.
You can also manage advertising identifiers and available privacy controls in Android and your Google account. Additional rights concerning advertising-related data use may apply under your local law; use the game’s available privacy choices or contact us for assistance.
You have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. In Denmark, this is Datatilsynet, the Danish Data Protection Agency.
Children and younger players
Block Tempo is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older, and is not directed at children under 13. The game does not ask for a date of birth. Being 13 or older does not necessarily mean a player can consent to all data processing in their region. We use conservative age-related advertising settings.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without any consent required by law, contact us so we can investigate and address information we hold or process on our behalf.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the game, its services, or applicable requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice or request consent where required. Continuing to play does not by itself give consent to new optional processing.
